Introducing Mastering MikroTik

We’re excited to officially launch Introduction to Mastering MikroTik — a practical, real-world training built to help you move from following tutorials to designing resilient networks with intention.

Mastering MikroTik isn’t about memorizing commands. It’s about understanding how the pieces fit together so you can confidently design, deploy, and troubleshoot networks—whether you’re running a small ISP, managing enterprise branches, or leveling up a home lab.

What you’ll learn

By the end of the program, you’ll be able to:

• Recognize the strengths and limitations of MikroTik solutions

• Connect to a MikroTik device using multiple access methods

• Navigate Winbox efficiently (and use time-saving tips you’ll actually keep using)

• Understand the role of RouterOS and how it drives device behavior

• Build bridges correctly, including proper hardware offloading concepts

• Create and manage firewall rules using Winbox and CLI

• Understand bandwidth control / traffic shaping goals and implementation principles

• Dedicated lab access: each student gets a sandbox MikroTik lab account
• Lab notes & configs: step-by-step labs with command snippets, diagrams, and screenshots
• Weekly virtual instruction + live Q&A: structured weekly sessions to keep you moving forward
