RWB Invisible Upgrades!
RemoteWinBox just got a HUGE update, but it all happened behind the scenes. What’s new, you may be wondering?
First, we upgraded and patched our infrastructure with security and performance upgrades. Boring, but necessary.
Next, we moved from a 13U cabinet that was bursting at the seams to a full 42U rack.
RWB now has plenty of room to continue adding more capacity as our service continues to expand in popularity and adoption.
In addition to having more space for servers and services, we also gained access to fiber cross-connects so that we can continue to upgrade our capacity and carrier diversity on our upstreams – the connections that allow all of our customers to connect to our service.
So what does this mean for you? It means we can better offer you more redundant services that deliver RemoteWinBox faster and more reliably.
As well as updating our local servers, we’ve recently launched a deployment in Europe to allow a better connection to our customers across the pond. You may notice a “Register to EU” link on our login pages. If your routers are in the EU, this server is the best option for better performance on the RemoteWinBox dashboard.
What about Africa users? We’ve got exciting news for you, too. We are in the works of deploying a server in South Africa and expect to launch it soon! Check out our social media for official posts on new updates and releases!
