MikroTik AX WiFi is a game changer
MikroTik’s 6th generation WiFi routers are on the market and we’re finally seeing them hit shelves and in stock. MikroTik has always been a rock star at routing protocols, stability and bang for the buck — and now they’re also bringing the best WiFi performance and protocols too!
The new HAP series AX routers are not only incredible on paper, but we’re hearing from our customers that they’re also serious about delivering the fastest WiFi you’ve ever seen on a Tik. With support for 802.11AX and Wave2 wireless, you might be asking — What does all this mean? Well, 802.11r/k support means that devices will roam between Access Points better than ever. And MU-MIMO and beamforming mean that you’re going to see the blazing fast speeds over WiFi.
Oh – and did we mention UNII-1, UNII-2, UNII-3 and UNII-4 support! What else can we say, but awesome! This means we have more frequencies to choose from to reduce interference.
The AX product family offers up to 40% higher speed in the 5 GHz and up to 90% higher speed in the 2.4 GHz spectrum! That’s in part due to quality parts – not only are these new Gen6 WiFi routers incredibly powerful at their price point, they also have high gain antennae for better than ever coverage and signal strength! For example, we’ve seen a real world speed test in the field of nearly 300 Megabit speedtest over 2.4G and an incredible 800 Megabit on 5G!
With the 6th generation routers hitting the shelves, MikroTik networks can step up their game with faster WiFi speeds and better roaming capabilities. Knowing MikroTik’s reputation for stability and affordability, these new routers are definitely worth considering for anyone in the market for a high-performance WiFi router.
