Missed payments happen. This page explains exactly what Admiral does when a payment fails, how long you have to resolve it, and what is lost if you don’t.
The part that matters most: an account more than 30 days past due is permanently removed, along with every router, backup, and historical record in it. Removal cannot be undone, and Admiral support cannot restore the data afterward.

Timeline at a glance #
| When | What happens | Your access |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | Payment fails. We email the billing contact on the account. | Full |
| Day 1-29 | Account is suspended. | Access to the dashboard is restricted until payment is made. |
| Day 30 | Account and all data are permanently removed. | None — unrecoverable |
When a payment fails #
We alert you as soon as a charge is declined. Your account continues to operate normally during this period. Nothing is suspended or deleted while you’re resolving the payment.
Suspension #
After a payment is past due, the account is suspended.
Suspension is reversible. Bringing the account current restores service
Removal at 30 days #
Once an account passes 30 days past due, it is removed. This deletes:
- All routers and their configuration in Admiral
- All stored device backups
- All historical data, logs, and reporting
This is permanent. Removed data is not held in cold storage and cannot be recovered by Admiral support, by you, or by re-subscribing. If you have backups you need, download them before day 30.
